christmas parade
Sunday, December 7h, 2025
The Casselman Christmas Festival wraps up with a special nighttime christmas parade. This illuminated parade is favoured by young and old. It will start at 5:30 around Richer Circle.
This year, for important safety reasons, changes have been made to the parade staging area, where floats line up before the start. In collaboration with emergency services and the Casselman public works department, here is what has been decided:
NEW! Floats that are 35 feet or shorter must enter via Jeanne-Mance Street, turn left, and position themselves on Faucher Street. Volunteers will indicate where you should line up. Please follow their instructions.
Floats that are 40 feet or longer will position themselves around the Richer roundabout, as usual. NEW! No float will be allowed to park from the McDonald’s entrance up to and past the Métro entrance. Please follow the volunteers’ instructions, as they will direct you where to go.
When the parade begins, the coordinator will give each float the signal indicating when to start and enter the parade route.
It is strictly forbidden to hand out candy or any other items at the starting point, at the Richer–Laflèche–Faucher intersection. Spectators will be located farther down Laflèche.
Please begin your distribution only once you reach that area.
